Hace 4 días · Siddi Hilal was an officer in Shivaji's cavalry. He had defected to Shivaji from the Adilshahi army in 1659. He was brought up by Kheoji Bhosale (son of Shahaji's paternal uncle). Kheloji had purchased him as a slave boy and treated him as his son (kreetputra). So Siddi Hilal was brought up in Hindu way of life.
