The Musée Mécanique ([my.ze me.ka.nik], "Mechanical Museum") is a for-profit interactive museum of 20th-century penny arcade games and artifacts, located at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, California. With over 300 mechanical machines, it is one of the world's largest privately owned collections.
There is our own “Laffing Sal”, “Susie the Can-Can Dancer” and the fascinating “Carnival.”. Other things have been brought in from around the world for your amusement. Most of the items are displayed at the Musée Mécanique at Pier 45 in San Francisco, although I keep some of the more fragile and collectible items in my home. Now, I started my collection when I was about 11 years old, and that's a long time ago. I went to the Ellis Theatre on Fillmore Street and during the intermission they had a Bingo game.
