His face was all I could ever remember from one of my fondest tv memories from my childhood. So now that I had his name, I could just IMdb him and find the series name – Mr. Terrific.

Coincidentally, Mr Terrific premiered on the same day as NBC superhero spoof Captain Nice – a sitcom based around virtually the same idea. They both also aired for the last time on the same date in August 1967. Four episodes of the series were edited into a TV movie called The Pill Caper in 1968.
