The Stones' equivalent to the Red and Blue album arguably was their own compilation Hot Rocks 1964 - 1971. It ended up being so successful that their label saw it as a no-brainer to make another. The interesting thing though: while More Hot Rocks (Big Hits & Fazed Cookies) is undeniably a cash grab on the label's part, it's actually a great mix of material that didn't make the first round.
