2 de dic. de 2009 · Monty Stark, vibraphonist, pianist, composer, arranger, one-time leader of inimitable psychedelic jazz band The Stark Reality died at a Scottsdale, Arizona hospice on Thanksgiving evening, 11.26.09. The cause of his death was cancer.
He hired vibraphonist Monty Stark to compose theme music because he had experience in arranging and he wanted Stark to update the music for the rock and roll generation. Stark wrote arrangements with bassist Phil Morrison, and they hired saxophonist Carl Atkins, guitarist John Abercrombie, and drummer Vinnie Johnson.
