Molina, Talbot, Lofgren & Young is an offshoot of Crazy Horse, the lumbering outfit that has served as Neil Young 's regular backing band since 1969. This particular incarnation formed during the recording sessions for 2021's Barn, a Young album cut during the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic.
