Musical artist. Mamoru Fujisawa (藤澤 守, Fujisawa Mamoru, born December 6, 1950), known professionally as Joe Hisaishi (久石 譲, Hisaishi Jō), is a Japanese composer, musical director, conductor and pianist, known for over 100 film scores and solo albums dating back to 1981.
Su debut tuvo lugar en 1981 con la publicación de su álbum MKWAJU, 10 compuesto para conjunto de percusión, teclados y programación electrónica. 11 Al año siguiente firmó su segundo álbum, Information (1982), 12 acreditado bajo el seudónimo Wonder City Orchestra denominación que utilizó para englobar también al resto de colaboradores.

Joe Hisaishi started to show his interest in minimal music when he was a student at Kunitachi College of Music, and embarked on his career as a composer. The presentation of MKWAJU in 1981 and the release of his first album Information the following year kicked off his career as a solo artist.
