I had multiple cassette mixtapes made from recording songs off the radio including live shows that were broadcast. Some of the bands I still love today I discovered on Radio 1 shows such as Lamacq Live.

It does make sense there are plenty of people who want to get into cassettes or are already into them but only own a walkman or a portable player that's not great for recording. Some people want custom mix tapes on cassette as well with nice art and a label. They may not have the artistic skills to do it themselves.
