I suppose that it is natural to use “past” with “midnight” and “hour” if minutes are more than 30, but it will sound unusual when used with a number like “41 ... Just "3 minutes past midnight" or "3 minutes past twelve". The 24-hour format is rarely used in speaking, only in writing/displays.
20 de abr. de 2024 · Why is it that when I manually wind the minutes hand, the date changes at midnight. But when it runs mechanically, the date changes minutes after midnight? Is there a way without having the Rolex watchmaker open my GMT II, for me to adjust by (hand)?
Hace 3 días · Since that adjustment I have noticed that the date changes over a couple of minutes before midnight now instead of after midnight. If I recall correctly the date should be changing prior to midnight so I think all is good. Can anyone confirm so I can get some sleep??? _____
