Founded in 1945, Millfield Prep School offers an exceptional, all-round educational experience that puts the individual at the centre. Nestled in the beautiful Somerset countryside, under the stunning Glastonbury Tor, Millfield Prep provides the ideal environment in which to grow up, foster a love of learning and create lifelong childhood memories.
Millfield has its own pre-prep and preparatory school, Millfield Preparatory School (also known as Edgarley) in nearby Glastonbury, which takes children from 2 to 13 years old. The prep school shares some of Millfield's facilities. It acts as a feeder school, with over 90% of its pupils typically moving up to Millfield each year.
Entry to Millfield Prep School is possible into all year groups, with the largest intake at Year 7. We will consider entry in January and April, as well as in September. If you would like to consider a place at Millfield Prep for your child, the first thing to do is to come and visit us.
