Hace 5 días · One of the best gangster movies out there is definitely this hidden gem called Miller's Crossing, created by the Coen brothers in 1990. The movie centers around a man named Tom Reagan. Tom is an advisor to a Prohibition-era crime boss who also tries to keep the peace between the warring mafias, but ends up getting caught in the middle.
I am looking for a movie like Miller's Crossing. I want it to be similar in its focus but if it's as well directed, or similarly directed, I'd be overjoyed. I want a movie where the main character or a major character tries to be moral, virtuous, or ethical and deals with the consequences of their actions/beliefs in the 'real world'.
