From the Jam are an English band, formed in 2006 as the Gift by Rick Buckler, former drummer with the Jam, together with musicians Russell Hastings and David Moore. The band was named after the Jam's sixth and final studio album (1982), and plays material by that group.
From The Jam is comprised of legendary former ‘The Jam’ bassist Bruce Foxton, vocalist & guitarist Russell Hastings, drummer Mike Randon, and Andy Fairclough on Hammond and piano.
Mark continued for five years and then Mike Randon the current drummer took over duties on the kit. The band have gone from strength to strength playing the biggest venues in the UK and across Australia, Japan and New Zealand. The new album ‘The Butterfly Effect’ is due out on 28 October.
16 de dic. de 2021 · ‘From The Jam’ have to be one of the hardest working bands on the circuit with what seems like their endless touring. I had never heard of drummer Mike Randon prior to tonight but he certainly showcased his skills tonight and I won’t be forgetting him in a hurry.
Mike Randon’s drumming, inspired by the likes of Boris Williams, transformed the on-tape sound. Les Driscoll’s agile bass guitar lines pumped strength into the power-trio backbone, and Ian Stewart’s guitar, with its crisp delay, burst forth in all its glory.

18 de ago. de 2021 · From The Jam remains to this day with Bruce Foxton, and Russell Hastings along with Mike Randon on drums. From The Jam have two studio albums in release (Back In The Room – 2012, and Smash The Clock – 2015) and a live album, From The Jam Live (2017).
