Mike Arturi, Universal Music Center founder, is a lifelong professional musician and music lover. Mike is the drummer for the band The Lovin' Spoonful, and plays and tours with various bands and artist! He resides in Minnesota and serves as Executive Director of UMC.

years of professional performance experience, Mike Arturi has drummed for dozens of acclaimed artists including Chuck Berry, Gary Lewis and The Playboys, Badfinger, Head East, and Dick Clark’s touring Rock and Roll shows. Arturi joined Rock and Roll Hall of fame inductee band The Lovin’ Spoonful in 1996 and remains a full time member today.
