Born in London, England, Mick first created a liquid projection light show at his home in Wimbledon in 1967. With two others, he created Fantasia Light Circus and played Middle Earth, now known as The Roundhouse, and provided the backdrop for bands such as Pretty Things, The Nice and Pink Floyd.

History. 1969–1973: Early years. The band formed in Hamburg, West Germany in 1969. The founding members were Englishmen Roye Albrighton on guitars and lead vocals, Allan "Taff" Freeman on keyboards, Derek "Mo" Moore on bass, Ron Howden on drums and artists Mick Brockett and Keith Walters on lights and "special effects".

The Other Side is the fourteenth album by progressive rock band Nektar, released in 2020. It was the first studio album since 1977's Magic Is a Child to feature original bassist Derek "Mo" Moore. It also features the return of Mick Brockett on special effects, Randy Dembo on rhythm guitar, and Ryche Chlanda on lead guitar.
