Mick Bolton (Londres, 10 de mayo de 1950) es un guitarrista británico, reconocido por haber tocado en la agrupación UFO, apareciendo acreditado en los álbumes UFO 1, UFO 2: Flying y Live. [1]
Lead singer Phil Mogg, guitarist Mick Bolton, bassist Pete Way and drummer Andy Parker formed the band in 1968. Originally calling themselves Hocus Pocus, the group changed their name to UFO. They signed to the Beacon Records label, headed by Antiguan-born Milton Samuel.
Mick Bolton, a keyboardist who played with Mott the Hoople and Dexys Midnight Runners, among others, died overnight, on January 1, 2021, in his sleep. The news was reported on various social media sites on New Year’s Day, including a post by his former Mott bandmate, Morgan Fisher. Bolton was 72.
