Cowboy Junkies are an alternative country and folk rock band formed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1985 by Alan Anton (bassist), Michael Timmins (songwriter, guitarist), Peter Timmins (drummer) and Margo Timmins (vocalist).
Michael Timmins was born on 21 April 1959. He is an actor and composer, known for Natural Born Killers (1994), Dante's Peak (1997) and The Girl on the Train (2016).
