Morning Jewel by Michael Stearns, released 01 May 2015 1. Morning 2. Jewel Morning (27:15), emerged out of a series of ambient recordings that Michael made in 1978/79 in the desert near Tucson, Arizona and in the seaside jungle village of Yelapa, Jalisco, Mexico. It was at the beginning of his travels with a portable recording system, collecting music and ambient sounds along the way.
