He never regained consciousness and passed away on November 20, 2012 surrounded by family. Michael Dunford is a guitarist who had a huge, huge, huge influence on me. It was in the mid-seventies that his rhythms, leads and compositions for the band Renaissance lead me to pick up the classical guitar.
