Michael Patrick Avedon (born January 16, 1991) is an American photographer living in New York City. Avedon works commercially as a fashion photographer and makes portraits for his personal work – including an ongoing series of artists in their studios.

About. Michael Avedon is an American photographer and filmmaker based in New York City. He is the grandson of legendary fashion photographer Richard Avedon, and the son of renowned actress and model Carol Alt. Michael began his career as a photographer in 2009, shooting for magazines such as Vogue, GQ, and Harper's Bazaar.
