Memphis was filmed on Broadway between 18-21 January in 2011 by NCM Fathom and Broadway Worldwide. Beginning April 28, 2011, the live capture had a week-only limited release in cinemas under the title “Memphis: Direct from Broadway.”
Broadway (2009–2012) Directed by Christopher Ashley and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo, the Broadway production began previews at the Shubert Theatre on September 23, 2009, and officially opened on October 19.
