Once in a while, the band would spontaneously break into some riff or song chorus from some obscure tune from the past, which kept the mood light.

As a session musician he’s contributed to recordings of Chris Stapleton, Joy Oladokun, and Midlake as well as Neon Indian with whom he frequently tours as guitarist and auxiliary keyboardist.

13 de ago. de 2021 · Not long after reaching L.A., Max Townsley and Drew Erickson, aka Explorer Tapes, signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music. After writing several songs with more established writers ( David Baerwald, Dillon O’Brian, Steve Lindsey ), the duo had the good fortune of having Keith Urban record their song Texas Time.
