Matthew Cooke is a filmmaker and activist who has worked on documentaries such as Deliver Us from Evil, How to Make Money Selling Drugs, and Survivors Guide to Prison. He has also acted in TV shows like Bad Dad and Stupidface, and written and directed fiction features like Rapid Eye Movement and Note To Self (ish).
In the late 1990’s, Cooke was a creative director for Capitol Records and soon after pioneered the first single-field search engine (before Google), which earned a Best-of-the-Web Award from Print Magazine and a partnership with Intel, Time-Warner, and AOL. He taught digital arts at Otis College of Design before transitioning to filmmaking.
