Mobile is a Canadian alternative rock band from Montreal initially composed of Mathieu Joly (vocals), Christian Brais (guitar), Pierre-Marc Hamelin (drums), Dominic Viola (bass) and Frank Williamson (guitar). Their debut album, Tomorrow Starts Today, was released in 2006.
Since Mobile’s dissolution, Joly has concentrated on broadening his palette, moving beyond rock into soul-styled dance and pop that marries complexity with accessibility. The result is his self-titled solo debut, Mat Joly, a wide-ranging 12-song record that finds Joly claiming vast new creative territories as both a writer and a vocalist.

Frontman Mat Joly, guitarist Frank Williamson, guitarist Christian Brais, bassist Dominic Viola, and drummer Pierre-Marc Hamelin first met in grade school and co-founded their first garage band as teenagers.
