John Marty Stuart (born September 30, 1958) is an American country and bluegrass music singer, songwriter, and musician. Active since 1968, Stuart initially toured with Lester Flatt, and then in Johnny Cash's road band before beginning work as a solo artist in the early 1980s.

7 de feb. de 2023 · Marty Stuart, the 5-time GRAMMY winner and Country Music Hall of Famer, announces his first new album in more than 6 years, Altitude, on May 19 via Snakefarm. The album is inspired by his 2018 tour with Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman, and features twin fiddles, steel guitar and legendary Pig Robbins on piano. The album title track is a cosmic country song about the outlaw spirit of the Byrds.
