The music is poignant and moving but it’s not what I’m looking for in a Prefab Sprout album. I need Martin McAloon’s groovy bass lines. I need Wendy Smith’s airy vocals. I think it should have been kept as a solo Paddy album as released but under the Prefab Sprout banner there are several albums I prefer.
