Martin Dale Chambers (born 4 September 1951) is an English musician, best known as a founding member and drummer of the rock band the Pretenders.
31 de may. de 2017 · Chambers stayed with the band until he was fired in 1985 during the recording of the album Get Close. He re-joined in 1994 and has been there ever since, although he hasn’t appeared on a Pretenders studio album since 2002’s Loose Screw.

The original band consisted of founder and main songwriter Chrissie Hynde (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), James Honeyman-Scott (lead guitar, backing vocals, keyboards), Pete Farndon (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Martin Chambers (drums, backing vocals, percussion).
