Marshall Gill, guitarist from 2005 to 2021. After touring Eight (2000), the band again took time out, most notably so that Sullivan could concentrate on his debut solo studio album Navigating by the Stars which was eventually released in 2003, and toured by Sullivan, Dean and White.
Formed in 2012 by New Model Army guitarist Marshall Gill, his brother Leon and Tom Wibberley, the band has toured extensively in the UK, including well-known festivals such as Beautiful Days and Bearded Theory, and has also played in Germany, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

Blackballed is the side project of New Model Army guitarist Marshall Gill. Gill and company have been building their base since their inception in 2012 with enthusiastic live performances and festival appearances.
For personal reasons on all sides, Marshall Gill is no longer with us, but of course we would like to thank him for all his contributions to the band over many years and wish him well with Blackballed and all his other projects.
