19 de abr. de 2024 · Mark Volman of The Turtles turns 77 today. Mark Volman was born in Los Angeles, California, on April 19, 1947. With Howard Kaylan he founded the Turtles, that became one of the most popular bands of the late 1960’s. The Turtles had several hits worldwide including “Happy Together” and “Eleanore”.

It kicked up again in 2010 and has continued under the banner of the Happy Together Tour — “Happy Together” being the Turtles No. 1 hit from 1967.
