Marina Rosenfeld's Deathstar project explores the embodied, often dysphoric experience of listening through a series of versions and distortions of a microphone configuration that reproduces a subjective, sensory account of the soundfield. The project involves an exhibition, a double album, a notation, and a series of musical works based on the original recordings and the notation.
