MARIE TAGLIONI (April 23, 1804 – April 24, 1884) 1804-1810: Marie Taglioni was born in 1804 in Stockholm, Sweden, in a dancing family. Her father, the Italian Filippo Taglioni, was a well-known dancer and choreographer, with a brother, Salvatore Taglioni, who was a dance master in Naples, Italy.
