Man Of Aran is a soundtrack album from Brighton-based English indie rock band Sea Power, then known as "British Sea Power". It was released on 18 May 2009 in the UK. The CD album was released with an accompanying DVD of the 1934 film Man of Aran, to which the album serves as a score.

This is not your usual British Sea Power collection, however, it does feature many of the group’s strongest attributes in unfiltered form. Man of Aran is the soundtrack to a film made in 1934 (!) that focuses on the day-to-day survival of the struggling fishermen of Western Ireland’s remote and barren Aran Islands outside of Galway Bay.
Highest Rated. View All. 1 Year after releasing Do You Like Rock Music, Sea Power did the score for an old fictional documentary called Man Of Aran. It runs a solid 15 minutes longer than any of their previous works and shows off a completely different style and tone.
