Overview. The album is a career-retrospective for Hay: he is best known as the lead singer for the 1980s Australian pop band Men at Work, and roughly half of the songs on this album are Hay's solo studio renderings of works from the Men at Work catalog, while several others are remixes or re-recordings of material from his solo albums.
Colin James Hay (born 29 June 1953) is a Scottish-Australian musician, singer, songwriter, and actor. He came to prominence as the lead vocalist and the sole continuous member of the band Men at Work, and later as a solo artist.
Over the course of bittersweet new songs, revamped versions of solo favorites, and surprising, stripped-down versions of Men at Work classics, Hay reasserts himself as one of pop music’s most distinct and likable craftsmen. Now, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Man @ Work, the Man @ Work Acoustic Vinyl is being released.

Founding member Colin Hay has developed a solo career over the last 35 years, writing, recording, and touring extensively throughout the world as a solo artist.
