  5. Madokoro Akutagawa Saori was a Japanese visual artist closely associated with Tatsuo Ikeda, Shigeo Ishii, and On Kawara. Career. Her work is noted for its primitivism and mythological influences and unique dying techniques. One of her best known works is Shinwa, kamigami no tanjo (Myth, Birth of Gods) (1956).
