The current Sons of the Pioneers are "trail boss" Tommy Nallie (vocals, lead guitar), who joined the group in 1983; Ken Lattimore (vocals, fiddle), John Fullerton (vocals, rhythm guitar), Paul Elliott (fiddle, vocals), and Chuck Ervin (bass, vocals).

12 de ene. de 2021 · Another empty saddle in the old corral: Luther Nallie, the third-longest tenured member of the Sons of the Pioneers and the group’s third trail boss, passed away early this morning at age 86 in Branson, Mo. Nallie, who first joined the group in 1969, served three stints starting in 1969.
