Stipetić is the official head of Werner Herzog Filmproduktion, the production company which has produced almost all of his brother's films.

In 1987, Herzog and his half-brother Lucki Stipetić won the Bavarian Film Award for Best Producing for the film Cobra Verde. In 2002, he won the Dragon of Dragons Honorary Award at the Kraków Film Festival.
He produced almost all of the films directed by Werner Herzog and has been the driving factor behind all opera productions of the director. Lucki Stipetic runs the Werner Herzog Filmproduktion in Munich and the Werner Herzog Film GmbH in Vienna.
