Lowell George Death. At the age of 34, while he was on tour in Arlington, Virginia to promote his solo album, Lowell George was suddenly seized by a fatal heart attack and died. He was a Hollywood kid best known for playing an idiosyncratic brand of Southern music that was foremostly appreciated in the Mid-Atlantic and Europe.
