The recording featured several well known jazz pioneers. Musicians included in this performance included Clark Terry, James Moody, Zoot Sims, Dizzy Gillespie, Coleman Hawkins, Benny Carter, Teddy Wilson, Bob Cranshaw, Louie Bellson , and T-bone Walker.
