Lote Daulako Tuqiri (born 23 September 1979) is a former professional dual-code rugby footballer who primarily played as a winger across both codes. He represented Australia in both rugby league and rugby union, and Fiji in rugby league.

4 de may. de 2024 · Biography. Flying Brisbane winger, a 1998 Junior Kangaroo, also had a background in rugby union before joining the Broncos. A try-scorer in Brisbane’s 14-6 win over the Roosters in the 2000 grand final, Tuqiri captained Fiji in the 2000 World Cup after missing out on Australian selection.
Lote Tuqiri was one of the biggest profile rugby league converts of all-time. A winger of the highest quality, Tuqiri played six State of Origin games, five test matches and won a premiership with the Brisbane Broncos before he switched codes and joined Australian rugby in 2003.
