[1] Freddy Fender and Flaco Jiménez, both from Texas Tornados, formed Los Super Seven, along Joe Ely, Rick Trevino, David Hidalgo and Cesar Rosas (of Los Lobos ' fame), and Tejano vocalist Ruben Ramos.
