At 98 years young, Burton “Spike” Pugh is celebrating 75 years of service with the Rocky Mount Volunteer Fire Department. Lesley Norburn, assistant priest from Blackbourne Team ministry, in Bury St Edmunds, braved the shave at Bury’s market last Wednesday.. She and Sharon Connell, head of chaplaincy services at St Nicholas Hospice, teamed up to raise money for the hospice.
