Basia's second record, 1989's London Warsaw New York, was just as successful, but her third effort, 1994's The Sweetest Illusion, failed to find an audience. Clear Horizon - The Best Of ... followed in 1998 and proved to be her only release for several years, as the deaths of several close friends (including her mother) temporarily sapped Basia's drive to make music.
Amazonで購入. Basia Trzetrzelewska (who wisely goes by only her simple first name) put out "London Warsaw New York" in 1989, but it remains today one of the all-time great dance albums. It's up there with Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and anything by Prince in terms of great, propulsively rhythmic dance music with a driving drumbeat.

Overview. The album was Basia's first studio release in nine years. The singer has described it as an album "about love – for life, for music and for people" and her jazziest record yet. She has also revealed that its original title was Be.Pop, after one of the songs and as a reference to subgenre of jazz music, but her record company wasn't keen on the idea.
