Llŷr Evans ( Welsh pronunciation: [ɬɨːr ˈivans], born 1968), also known as Llŷr Ifans, is a Welsh actor. Career. Llyr Ifans is best known for appearing opposite his brother Rhys Ifans in the cult film, Twin Town, in 1997. A sequel with the suggested title Swansea Al Akbar was mooted but the plans were called off in 2011. [1]

Early life. Ifans was born Rhys Owain Evans [1] in Haverfordwest on 22 July 1967, [2] the son of nursery school teacher Beti-Wyn (née Davies) and primary school teacher Eurwyn Evans. [3] [4] His younger brother, Llŷr Ifans, is also an actor.

Twin Town is a 1997 Welsh dark comedy crime film, filmed mainly around Port Talbot and set in Swansea, Wales. It was directed by Kevin Allen and had a working title of Hot Dog; a hot dog van features in a number of scenes in the film.
