It's easy to hear why on this raw, lively, and relaxed recording of Nighthawk and a few of his cronies, including harmonica ace Carey Bell, playing outdoors at Chicago's famed Maxwell Street Market.

  5. For the blues fan, this purchase is a no-brainer. It belongs right next to B.B. King's Live at the Regal (which, by the way, was recorded the same year).
