10 de dic. de 2006 · Robert Nighthawk's slide guitar was revered by the likes of Muddy Waters and B.B. King. It's easy to hear why on this raw, lively, and relaxed recording of Nighthawk and a few of his cronies, including harmonica ace Carey Bell, playing outdoors at Chicago's famed Maxwell Street Market.
Robert Nighthawk: Live On Maxwell Street. One of my favorite Chicago blues albums, re-issued in a digipak edition with additional 15 minutes of previously unreleased blues. He was one of the greatest blues slide guitar players, ever.

For the blues fan, this purchase is a no-brainer. It belongs right next to B.B. King's Live at the Regal (which, by the way, was recorded the same year).
