Live / laɪv /, often typeset as Līve, LĪVE, or +LĪVE+, is an American rock band formed in York, Pennsylvania, in 1984 by Ed Kowalczyk (lead vocals, guitars), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass), Chad Gracey (drums), and Chad Taylor (guitars). As of 2022, Kowalczyk is the only remaining member of the original lineup.

6 de feb. de 2019 · The rock band Live got its start in 1985, when four teenage friends in York, Pennsylvania—vocalist Ed Kowalczyk, bassist Patrick Dahlheimer, drummer Chad Gracey, and guitarist Chad Taylor—began playing shows in their hometown area under the name Public Affection. Although the band name would change, the original lineup remained intact until 2011.
