It is at it's best in the jazzy rendition of Schizoid Man and in Earthbound. But this version of the band was also capable of more structured music, as in Cirkus. This version is one of the best I heard and in Pictures of a City. All in all a good addition for the Crimson collector.
In the event it’s a sublime conclusion to a solid gig having regained some of the energy that had eluded them the previous evening in Jacksonville. This concert is also currently available as a two disc set, originally released in 2003 as King Crimson Collectors Club 23. The track Earthbound first appeared on the 1972 album of the same name.
