Marlene Dietrich died in Paris in 1992 where she lived in seclusion for years. Here we have a rare live appearance from the Café de Paris in London in 1954.

The 1954 Live at the Cafe de Pais in London by Marlene Dietrich is one of her best albums! All of the songs are great. Especially so is her version of "Makin' Whoopee", which I must have listened to 1000 times by now. She puts her personality into the song, as a Sinatra or Streisand would, and makes it very personal and comedic.
