They were the very best of British blues. Peter Green and the boys took the music well beyond the other major exponents of the time. Success as any followers of the band of the time however took their toll in the end and on Peter in particular. Having such a love for the band at the time I was therefore always on the look out for BBC performances.

10 de abr. de 2007 · For all that is written about Fleetwood Mac’s blues influence, there is quite a lot of 50’s Rock n’ Roll on this CD. Which I think is a good thing, it shows that Green & Co are not too snobbish about their influences, adds a bit of musical diversity, & demonstrates a humorous side of the band (there a lot of darkness that surrounds Peter Green).
