Brenda Holloway was a Motown act. She was often ignored by Motown. Consider how she released tons of singles in the 1960s, but was only allowed to release one album, in 1964.
The studio album production sounds a bit thin compared with their best live shows. But I've always been partial to concert albums from that era. If I had to pick only one album from some favorite bands, it'd be The Doors Absolutely Live, Allman Brothers Fillmore East, Grateful Dead Europe '72, Hendrix Band of Gypsys, Stones Ya-Ya's, and In Concert 1973 for Clapton's best work.
