The arch, which displays the sign ‘Bienvenidos a Little Village,’ is a welcome to the neighborhood’s visitors and a passageway to a place unlike any other in Chicago.

The Little Village Arch marks the beginning of a two-mile stretch of West 26th Street which runs west from the Arch to Kostner Avenue. This part of West 26th Street is the commercial and cultural heart of Little Village with a dense strip of small shops, bakeries, restaurants and offices run by and catering to the Mexican community.
