Overwhelmed by a disastrous lightning storm that his son predicted, a man must learn to trust his son in order to save his family and the whole community.
A bolt of lightning rockets from the clouds, launching a fireball towards the sky. Fourteen year old Eric Dobbs (Jesse Eisenberg) tracks the weather on his computer and discovers a rare weather pattern is about to cause two giant storms to collide with catastrophic results.
